AMY'S BIO

Amy Grace is a Southeast MI singer-songwriter of folk and indie roots.  Her music strives to be joyful, uplifting, and fun!

Amy Grace is a native of East Tawas, Michigan. Growing up, she was surrounded by music and was introduced to the characteristics of many instruments and genres.  The piano, fiddle, and hand drums (and each bad note and offbeat) all passed through Amy's hands as she searched for her perfect instrumental match.  She soon found that the poetry and lyrics she had written throughout the years best matched the strings of a guitar.

After graduating from Adrian College, she dove into her talents of songwriting and performing.  She has a passion for creating music and set lists unique to her audience's character and needs.   Her raw lyrics and compositions are intended to meet people where they are; allowing audience members of all ages and backgrounds to find peace & joy within music.  Notable performances include Arts, Beats & Eats, The Michigan State Fair, and as an opener for pop artist, Jesse McCartney, and rapper, Hoodie Allen.

Today, she's influenced by the music of Needtobreathe, Joni Mitchell, Jade Bird, and Lauren Daigle.  Her music promotes living outside of the normalcy of this world; living life for the One who created you and crafted you so uniquely.  You can find her performing at Michigan music venues and festivals.  She is also proud to serve on the music team at Main Street Church in Chelsea, MI.

"We can choose to create for ourselves and live only for the life right in front of our eyes or we can choose to reimagine our work as service to the One who has called us to create and 'fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen (2 Cor. 4:18)." -Called to Create by Jordan Raynor
